Nita Strauss and company invaded Trees in Deep Ellum last Wednesday night in support of her new album ‘The Call of the Void’ which was released the Friday before. There was an extra spark coming off of Nita’s signature JIVA guitar this time around as she flashed the crowd with her new engagement ring that long time boyfriend and drummer of her band, Josh V., gave her on the night of her album release. While playing at the famous Whisky a Go Go, Josh proposed to Nita in front of the excited crowd. Of course, she said yes.
Nita will be hitting the road again in August with Alice Cooper followed by another solo tour opening for Mammoth WVH. Album release, three tours and an engagement. 2023 has turned out to be a big year for Nita Strauss.
