The Beths and Sidney Gish at Tulips – 03/11/23
Tulips had a full house and a line out the door Saturday night. New Zealand’s indie rockers The
Beths headlined a sold-out show stopping by the Fort Worth venue while touring through the
states for the latest album, Expert In A Dying Field.
Singer-songwriter Sidney Gish opened the night playing tunes from her latest single, Filming School. Gish played solo suited in a cowboy hat and denim and was fantastic at keeping the crowd’s hands clapping, but what is in the
water in New Zealand?
The Beths did not hold back last night, with a stage set and ready including a giant inflated freshwater fish on stage, yes, an inflated fish.
Playing tunes from the latest release and a lot of crowd-pleasing favorites like, I’m Not Getting Excited, off their 2020 album Jump Rope Gazers. The night finished early for doors open at 8pm with the Beths closing
the night around 10pm.
