Billy Bob’s Texas has applied for a new permit that would allow us to open and operate as a restaurant, under restaurant guidelines. We are still awaiting approval on this permit but have every intention of opening Billy Bob’s Texas and the Honky Tonk Kitchen sometime between August 12-14. Exact hours of operations will be posted soon.

That same week, we will begin having limited capacity concerts.*

Friday, August 14 – The Bellamy Brothers (10 PM)
Saturday, August 15 – Flatland Cavalry (10 PM)
Friday, August 21 – Tracy Byrd (10 PM)
Saturday, August 22 – Casey Donahew (10 PM)
Sunday, August 23 – Chad Prather (8 PM)
Friday, August 28 – Josh Abbott Band (10 PM)
Sunday, August 29 – TBA
All shows will be at 10 PM, unless otherwise stated, until bull-riding returns.

*These upcoming concerts will be limited to 1,200 tickets; however, capacities could change after the first weekend of shows.

At BBT, we remain dedicated to the health and well-being of our staff, guests, and entertainers. This is what we are doing to stay safe as we begin to reopen our doors and get back to live music. 

Billy Bob’s Texas will provide a safe, clean, and fun experience for everyone with the implementation of the following sanitation and safety measures.

Follow recommendations & guidelines from the CDC as well as local health authorities.

Publish recommendations & guidelines form the CDC as well as local health authorities in public spaces.

Limited capacities.

Temperature checks for every employee as they enter the building.

All guest-facing staff will wear gloves.

All guest-facing team members will be required to wear face masks.

All guests will be required to wear a mask. (Per Executive Order) The only time face masks/face coverings will not be required for guests is when they are seated at their table but, they are still recommended.

All entertainers and their crews will be temperature checked and will utilize hand sanitizer when entering the backstage area of the club.

Hand sanitizer available throughout the building.

Socially distanced markers throughout the building; social distancing will be enforced.

Socially distanced seating and tables throughout the club.

A dedicated BBT Sanitation Team will routinely clean high-traffic areas before, during, and after operating hours.

Disposable utensils and disposable or digital menus in the Honky Tonk Kitchen.

All condiments in the Honky Tonk Kitchen will be single-serve and available upon request.

What can our guests expect when entering Billy Bob’s Texas?

All guests enter through the West Side doors by the Box Office.

Use of a non-invasive thermal camera as guests enter the building.

If a guest registers a high temperature, they will be pulled aside for additional screening.

If the guest continues to register a temperature higher than 99.5, they will not be allowed to remain at BBT. If purchased tickets are involved, a full refund will be offered.

A member of our sanitation team will be called to immediately wipe down and clean the area.

After the guest has passed their temperature check, the admittance line will pass by a Hand Sanitizing Station manned by a Billy Bob’s Texas employee, and each guest will be required to sanitize their hands prior to entry into the club.

Staff will be enforcing social distancing.

The dance floor will be roped off and the entrance and exit to the dance floor will be through one location monitored by Billy Bob’s Texas A maximum of 30 people will be allowed to dance at any one time and masks will be required.

The pool balls and cues have been sanitized and will be checked out from the retail store, requiring guest driver’s license. There will be no coin-operated pool tables. Upon the return of the balls and cues will be sanitized as well as the pool table itself that was used.

In order to make sure your visit is a safe and fun one, we need a little help from YOU!
