Praise for Georgia’s “About Work The Dancefloor”: “Georgia gets the people going” – PITCHFORK Best New Track Domino is proud to present Seeking Thrills, the new LP from Georgia, due for release on January 10th, 2020. New single “Never Let You Go” exemplifies Georgia’s trademark unfiltered lyrical sweetness and acidic production, fused with a sharp, angular rhythm inspired by Belgian post-punk, and a driving, house-influenced beat. The accompanying video was shot and directed by Joseph Connor in Jordan. Watch the video for “Never Let You Go” HERE Seeking Thrills fuses analog club sounds, solid pop songwriting, and rich, bubbling melodies for a sharply paced, fascinating album that showcases Georgia’s lifelong love affair with the drums. Heavily inspired by Chicago house and Detroit techno from the early 80’s, it’s a listening experience that takes you into the party, reminding you of the altitude of your last real thrill. Her reflections carry us through euphoria, heartache and melancholy, but always within the shadow of good times. “Never Let You Go” and the announcement of Seeking Thrills comes after a hugely successful 2019 for Georgia. Previous singles “Started Out” and “About Work The Dancefloor” hit BBC Radio 1’s A List in the UK, with the former reaching over 10M streams worldwide. In the US, “About Work The Dancefloor” received critical acclaim: Pitchfork named it Best New Track, Vulture and Stereogum gave it Best Song of the Week nods, while Billboard, Esquire, and Boston Herald included it in summer song lists.
